SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR 2009/2010 - Taking into consideration the current economic climate the Committee have managed to freeze the majority of subscriptions at the 2008/2009 rates. Subscriptions traditionally fall due on 1st May. In reality the rates are usually fixed after the annual audit in mid-summer. Subscriptions together with this completed form should reach The Honorary Secretary, asap. If anyone has the least difficulty paying in one instalment the Joint Honorary Secretaries will be happy to discuss other arrangements. Adult subscriptions paid in full before 1st September will be discounted from £525 to £500.
Countryside Alliance - Membership of the Countryside Alliance is mandatory for all who follow the Royal Artillery Hunt. Details are available on their website www.countryside-alliance.org.uk
Visitors - Visitors may hunt, by prior permission of the Joint Honorary Secretaries, for a maximum of 4 days. All Visitors must pay a Visitors Cap. The Joint Honorary Secretaries will liaise with the Joint Masters over the invitation of guests, as this remains ultimately the Masters' prerogative.
Voucher Scheme - Issued in a book of 7 and applicable from the Opening Meet onwards. Vouchers are valid for the relevant season only and may be transferred within a family. Field money is included. Voucher holders may attend Autumn Hunting by prior arrangement with the Joint Honorary Secretaries who will arrange a suitable donation for the day.
Point to Point Qualifiers - In order to be granted a Hunter Certificate, a horse must be fairly hunted for a minimum of 4 days during the season (from 1 October onwards). To obtain a riders certificate, a subscription or cap for the person concerned must be paid before 1st January 2010. Hunter and Rider Certificates will be issued after qualifying by the Joint Honorary Secretaries upon request.
Mandatory Levy for Campaign for Hunting - All subscribers/family are expected to pay the levy. The costs of defending hunting are huge.
