Reminiscences

If you have any memories, fond or otherwise, that you would like to share with other Hunt Supporters, please send via our guestbook and we will endeavour to include it.

Dear Editor

You are correct that I followed the RA for years but that was a long time ago in the days of Freddie Edmeades and Peter Heaton Ellis. Until recently I nursed the idea of riding to hounds once more at Larkhill but I live along way away in North Wales and my mare is twenty years old. (Although Freddie Edmeades' horse Wattle was twenty two and hunting two days a week when I was allowed to ride her!).

Hornby is a name that rings a bell. I shall look him up in an old Army List.

I occupy myself these days by trying to maintain my stables in what was the traditional manner and in re- schooling thoroughbreds - my own and one at a time.

 Yours,

Roger Hanington
